JES: Just Educational Services

Resources

While the "Pick" community has migrated to different camps, there are still a number of resources available to you.

Most notably, the comp.database.pick Usenet newsgroup has been around since 1994 and is still frequented by many top-notch veterans who helpfully answer questions and debate ongoing issues. If your email client does not support newsgroups, the good people of Google have helpfully aggregated every post ever made to CDP and made it available through groups.google.com.

JES has provided a FAQ for the CDP newsgroup for many years, although the above Google link is far better for searching for specific information.

There is a very active "U2 User Group" for users of IBM's uniVerse and Unidata products.

We also have a list of Pick-Related Links to lots of sites you may find useful and interesting.

Wikipedia has some useful information on the Pick Operating System.
